Katelyn Hull

Castle Hayne - Katelyn ShiAnne Hull of Wilmington, North Carolina, died unexpectedly on August 16th, 2026 at her residence, at the young age of 28. Born October 23, 1997, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to Kimberly and Lucas Hull. Katelyn received her GED in 2023 and continued her education in Truck Driving, ACE Machining, and Maintenance Technician. 

She worked as a Chef/ Baker and was known for can- do attitude towards work and home life. She renovated two campers top to bottom, participated in archery, video games, skating and fitness, and enjoyed nature walks, camping and being out on the lake. She wanted the simple life, to live off the land, raise her own crops and livestock, the way Yaweh intended. She believed that nourishing your body and mind is just the first step to the higher self, which she strived to achieve everyday.  If you ever needed advice she would tell you what you needed to hear, not what you wanted to hear, without judgement and always full of love. Now released from the weight of the world and trails of her past, but forever in our hearts.

She is survived by Brianne Hull, Dreamer Michelle Hull, and Kimberly Hull and preceded in death by Lucas (Deah) Hull, and Scotty Hull. 

"A Walk To Remember" will be held at a later date in her memorial.
