Hal Lail

SHELBY- Hal Ray Lail, 73, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was the son of the late Gorman and Evelyn Lail. Hal proudly served in the Air Force in Vietnam, he enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, traveling to the beach and camping. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lail. Hal is survived by his brother, Tim Lail and wife Valerie of Ellenboro; nieces, Brandy Lovelace and husband Andy, Linzy Greene and husband Dustin, and Katrina Lail; great-nephews, Tripp, Tyler and Judah; and great-niece, Sydney. Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. Johnny Ware officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
