Edwin Keith Ludlum left this life and took the hand of Jesus on September 28, 2025 where he was welcomed into heaven. Born on June 27, 1967 in Fayetteville, NC, Keith leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Keith was the beloved husband of Tammy Williamson Ludlum, and together they shared 29 beautiful years of marriage filled with adventure, teamwork, and deep love. Whether they were playing softball or volleyball, fishing, kayaking, working in the yard, playing corn hole, or simply sitting by a crackling fire, Keith and Tammy cherished doing life side by side. Their marriage was built on partnership, laughter, and a shared joy in everyday moments.

A hardworking provider, Keith devoted 24 years to Pepsi Cola and later spent five years with Environments Unlimited. He was known not only for his work ethic but also for his remarkable ability to fix, build, and create almost anything. Proudly “YouTube certified,” Keith could take any idea or vision and turn it into something real. From home projects to heartfelt gifts, his craftsmanship is woven into the walls and memories of the home he loved and provided for Tammy, Cheyanne, and Sierra.

Keith was a storyteller at heart — sometimes a little exaggerated, always entertaining. He loved to talk, tease, play jokes, and chase the “wow factor,” and he had a special way of drawing people in with his humor, confidence, and warmth. Time spent with Keith was never dull, and those who knew him will forever cherish the sound of his laughter and the sparkle in his eyes when he was telling one of his famous stories.

He was also a lover of good food, especially Tammy’s cooking, and never failed to ask what was for supper. Keith became an incredible baker himself, creating desserts that were better than anything store-bought — another way he shared love with those around him.

Keith was not only a devoted husband, but an extraordinary father. Above all, he loved his family deeply. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for Tammy and their daughters, Cheyanne and Sierra, who were the pride and joy of his life. He spoke often and with deep admiration of the young women they were becoming—not only for their many gifts, talents, accomplishments, and strong work ethic, but even more for their character, kindness, and integrity.

Keith believed that the greatest gift a parent could give was not simply providing for their children, but preparing them for life. He didn’t just fix their cars or change the oil for them—he took the time to show his daughters how to do it themselves, patiently explaining every step. Through these moments, he gave them something far more valuable than anything money could buy: confidence, independence, and the reassurance that they could always call Dad when they needed help. His love, guidance, and steady presence were a gift that will be treasured forever.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Ray Ludlum; his mother, Sandra Kay Ludlum; and his brother, Terry Ray Ludlum.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy Williamson Ludlum; his daughters, Cheyanne Ludlum and Sierra Ludlum Holland and her husband, Brent; his brother, Robert Ludlum and wife Bobbie, and their children Seth, Wyatt, and Raelyn; and his sister-in-law, Rhonda Ludlum, and her children Connor, Morgan, and Tim. Also mourning his passing are his loving in-laws: Robert Williamson, Sr.; Josephine Wilkerson and her husband Frank; Robert Williamson, Jr. and his daughter Victoria; Steve Williamson and his son Stephen and daughter Shelby; and Wesley Williamson and his wife Yesenia, and their children Jonathan and Kaitlyn.

Though Keith’s earthly work is done, his spirit, laughter, and love will live on in every story told, every project he built, and every heart he touched. All who knew and loved him will forever cherish the memories they made together.
