Andrew M. Campbell

Wilmington -Andrew Michael Campbell, 35, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on June 9, 2026. Andy was born on June 21, 1990, in Reading, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his younger brother Kevin, mother Kim, father Mark and grandparents Diane and Raymond Campbell. Andy is preceded in death by his grandparents Barbara and Bernard McQuown.

Growing up he played baseball and football every summer and fall. He graduated high school in Elkton, Maryland. Andy loved the outdoors, camping, deer hunting, fishing and hanging with his dogs (Lambeau and Oscar). He also loved to cook and talk about recipes with his mom. When Andy’s family moved to Wilmington, fishing the intracoastal waterway became his passion.

The mountains near Boone, North Carolina were his favorite place and his home for a couple of years when he was Manager at Ridge Runner Pet Lodging. He relished the crisp mountain air and snowstorms. Andy was a huge sports fan, especially football. Every Sunday he’d wear his Green Bay swag and live and die with his beloved Packers.

Andy’s personality was laid back and easy going. Although he always stood out in a crowd with his hippie tie-dye shirt and dreadlocks. We will forever miss his laugh and smile.
