Tranquility provides a simple, warm and environmental way to honor loved ones who have died: we are grateful for the care and professionalism you showed across the process! Our mother loved the ocean and wanted water cremation for when she died: We are so grateful that Tranquility has a home in Wilmington, now, and that we found you. Kelly, who is the direct contact, is smart, warm, a great resource about matters symbolic and pragmatic. Their place of business felt so right: simple, light, artful. The caretakers were respectful and came within an hour of being called to remove our mother's body from where she died at home, giving space for us to say goodbye to her body and aware of how significant that time is. Kelly helped us with planning for the ashes, choosing from among their selection of beautiful urns (and art keepsakes), helping us to plan the process and getting death certificates processed on our behalf. We held the ceremony at our mother's Church and so many people commented on the sculpture which holds her ashes; we also are grateful for the little touches--from small bags of ashes we can scatter to giving us space as we made selections to showing us how powdery and clean the ashes will look.
